Life isn’t perfect, it doesn’t run to a script, we all have our ups and downs. As a kid growing up in a large family in rural New Zealand I knew what it was like to go through ups and downs. Dad worked all day and half the night and mum fitted work in and around raising the family. So, for most of my childhood the family lived on one income. It was tough but we got by.

I’ve had my share of ups and downs. My friends have stood by me and supported me through thick and thin. They’ve helped me in many different ways.

When someone comes to me for finance and they tell me about their situation and the struggles they’re experiencing or have been through I totally understand where they’re coming from. I understand because I know what it’s like. To be able to understand I need to listen to their story and then do everything I can to help them out.

Stories of some of the people I’ve helped

George is self-employed and has multiple defaults on his credit file. He needed to refinance his house and buy another house. I was able to refinance his house and get the equity out of the house to allow him to buy another house. His repayments only increased by $180 a week even though he now has two loans and his debt has almost doubled.

James is self-employed and has two court judgements on his credit file, both unpaid. He needs to update his vehicle. He is approved for a $20,000 loan and is currently looking for a vehicle that fits his approval limit.

Samantha is a single parent who needed to replace her car. She was recently discharged from a Part IX agreement and wanted a loan that didn’t come with a high interest rate. I got her approved for a brand new car and even found her a good deal from a car dealer that I work with.

Jane has recently returned to work after having time off to have a baby. She wanted to refinance her home loan, payout a car loan and get some cash out to do renovations. She has an unpaid default on her credit file from her current home loan lender. I was able to refinance her home loan to a new lender, payout the car loan and get some cash out to do renovations.

Darren has a paid default of over $300,000 on his credit file for his home loan. He needed a loan to replace his car. He had a valid reason for the default and by explaining his situation to the car finance company they were able to approve him and he updated his car and in doing so halved his weekly running costs.
